Seminars, business dinners, product presentations, weddings and receptions for up to 300 guests on the private beach can be organised at Hôtel Belles Rives, a five-star hotel on the water at Juan-les-Pins, in Antibes. The hotel has 43 rooms and suites, a Michelin-starred restaurant and a sister hotel nearby, the Juana, with which it offers events of up to 600 guests across two venues.
Seminars and company events
For business events the hotel privatises its restaurant La Passagère and the Fitzgerald piano bar, with a small lounge that can serve as a welcome desk or secretariat. The panoramic terrace looks out to the Lérins Islands and suits a cocktail after a working session. Menus are designed by the hotel's chefs, led by Aurélien Véquaud, around Mediterranean flavours and seafood, with gluten-free canapés available. The hotel's request form covers cocktail, meal and seminar formats. The hotel is accessible to guests with reduced mobility.
Weddings and receptions
Private events and weddings use the golden room of La Passagère, which opens onto the terrace, and the private beach, which can be booked exclusively for up to 300 guests. In warm weather receptions move to the terrace and the beach; in other seasons the Art Deco restaurant becomes the main setting. The concierge team can arrange flowers for the ceremony and the rooms, prestige cars with or without a driver, boat hire, hair and make-up, photo and video, music such as a harpist, babysitting and guest transfers.
Rooms and capacities
The beach takes up to 300 guests for an exclusive reception. Capacities for La Passagère, the Fitzgerald bar and the terrace are given by the events team on request, according to the format.
Accommodation
The hotel has 43 rooms and suites, plus villas let separately. Guests can use the private beach, water-skiing and boat outings from the hotel, a pontoon used for yoga sessions and a Valmont beauty corner.
Catering
All catering is in-house. Besides La Passagère, the hotel runs Paseo, the beach restaurant La Plage and the Fitzgerald bar, so a programme can move from a lunch on the beach to a dinner in the starred restaurant.
History and setting
The building is an Art Deco villa on the shore next to Port Gallice, at the start of the Cap d'Antibes. F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald stayed here before it became a hotel, and the Estène-Chauvin family has run it since 1929. Interior architect Olivier Antoine restored the lobby and La Passagère in the spirit of the 1930s. The hotel is a historic member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
Getting there
The hotel is at 33 boulevard Édouard Baudoin, a few minutes from Cannes and from Nice Côte d'Azur airport. Juan-les-Pins station, served by regional trains along the coast, is a short walk away.
