Seminars and company events
The Impérial Palace hosts seminars, conferences, incentives and company dinners, and shares its building with the Centre de Congrès Impérial Grand Annecy, so delegates can move from the plenary hall to their rooms without leaving the site. The hotel is a four-star property on the shore of Lake Annecy, in Haute-Savoie, next to the public park Charles Bosson and about 15 minutes on foot from the old town.
The hotel's sales team quotes residential seminars that combine meeting space, the 104 rooms and suites, meals in the restaurants and incentive activities around the lake and the mountains. Transfers can be arranged, Wi-Fi is free and private parking is available. The ski resorts of the Aravis, La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand, are about 30 minutes away for a winter programme.
Weddings and receptions
Weddings and private receptions are held in the hotel's restaurants facing the lake. The request form covers the ceremony, vin d'honneur, aperitif, lunch and dinner dance. Each event has a dedicated contact, and a photobooth, entertainment and shows can be added. The casino on site, with slot machines, roulette and blackjack, can round off an evening.
Rooms and capacities
The official site does not publish capacities for the meeting rooms or the congress halls. Ask the sales department for floor plans and capacities before fixing a format. Private events take place in La Table, Le Salon or Le Riva, all with a view of the lake.
Accommodation
The hotel has 90 rooms and 14 suites, including a set of larger signature suites. Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out by noon. The Cristal Spa, on the garden level, has a relaxation pool and treatment rooms for one or two people, which helps fill the free hours of a seminar.
Catering
Catering is in-house. The chef proposes menus for cocktails and festive meals, adapted to each group, and the hotel runs three restaurants: La Table de l'Impérial, Le Bistrot and Le Riva, with the bar lounge at Le Salon. Breakfast is served in the room, at the buffet or on the terrace facing the lake. For the end-of-year season the hotel also prepares set menus for groups and companies.
History and setting
The hotel opened in 1913 and keeps its Belle Époque façade on the lakefront. Its terraces and the neighbouring park look straight onto the water and the mountains around the lake.
Getting there
Geneva airport is about 30 minutes away by road. Annecy station, with TGV services from Paris, is in the town centre, a short taxi ride away. About 600 public parking spaces are close to the hotel, free outside July and August.
