Château de Lussac takes residential seminars, study days, board meetings and weddings that run over several days, with 10 bedrooms and up to 28 beds on site. The château stands at 15 rue de Lincent in Lussac, in the Gironde, a few minutes from Saint-Émilion and surrounded by its own vineyard. Events are handled by the team of Sarments Vignobles, the group behind the estate's wines.
Seminars and company events
The house suits groups that want to work and stay in the same place, away from the city. Several spaces in the château are used for working sessions, meetings and informal breaks. The estate does not publish their names or capacities, so ask the events team for the layout that fits your group. Between sessions, the team arranges group activities: moped rides through the vines, golf introductions, yoga sessions and tailored programmes. It also organises day trips to Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux, Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat, with a private driver, a minibus or a taxi.
Weddings and receptions
The château presents itself as a discreet venue for weddings, from small gatherings to larger receptions. Because the wedding party can sleep on site, the celebration can stretch from a welcome evening to a brunch the next day. When more beds are needed, the château works with accommodation partners nearby. Reception capacities are not published and should be confirmed with the events team.
Accommodation
Ten bedrooms are spread between the château and a gîte. In the château: the Suite de Maître, 90 m² on the first floor with a small lounge and a sofa bed; the Chambre Rose, 50 m²; the Chambre Bleu, 42 m²; the Chambre aux Lucarnes and the Chambre Belvédère, 32 m² each; and the Chambre de la Tour, 19 m². In the gîte, four double rooms of 38 to 43 m², named Blanche, Or, Bleue and Rouge, two of them on the ground floor and one overlooking the main courtyard. Most beds are king or queen size. In total the rooms sleep up to 28 people, and they can be booked online.
Catering
The château does not describe a restaurant or a set catering offer on its site. Its wines, Château de Lussac and Marquis de Lussac, can be served at meals and tastings. Ask the events team how meals are organised for your group.
History and setting
The estate combines a château building, a wooded park and vineyards, and describes itself as a place with a long history. Tastings of the estate's wines, walks between the rows and visits to the surrounding villages fill the free time of a seminar or a wedding weekend. Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a short drive away.
Getting there
Lussac lies on the right bank of the Dordogne, north-east of Libourne. Libourne station has TGV services from Paris, and Bordeaux-Mérignac is the nearest airport. The events team can arrange transfers by private driver or minibus for the whole group.
