Seminars, business lunches and dinners, galas, concerts and weddings can be held here for 20 to 400 guests, with seated dinners of up to 300 in a single run of salons. The Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune stands in the wine village of Savigny-lès-Beaune, just north of Beaune, on the Côte de Beaune.
Seminars and company events
The three reception salons on the first floor can be hired privately for seminars and for business lunches and dinners. A company can hold a working session upstairs, move down to the vaulted celliers for a tasting or an aperitif, then return to the salons for dinner. The estate's collections can be visited during the day, which gives a seminar programme a break without leaving the site. Group meals are offered from 20 people and must be booked in advance.
Weddings and receptions
Weddings, galas and concerts use the same salons and celliers. The ground-floor celliers have been fully restored for tastings and receptions. Outside, a tree-lined lawn of 6,000 m² takes a cocktail, an outdoor meal or a large gathering, and the park can hold more guests than the indoor rooms, although the château gives no figure for it. A wedding brochure for 2026 can be downloaded from the official site.
Rooms and capacities
On the ground floor, the Grand Cellier seats up to 70 guests, and up to 100 when it is opened together with the five small celliers. On the first floor, the Salon Bleu seats up to 90, the Salons Bleu et Or up to 200, and the three Salons Bleu, Or et Rouge together up to 300. Across all its reception areas the château states a maximum of 400 covers.
Catering
Meals are served by a caterer, and two equipped kitchens are available to the caterer's teams. Only the estate's own wines are poured at events, which keeps the wine list simple and local. Group meals start at 20 guests.
History and setting
The Grand Château dates from the 14th century, and a smaller château on the same property from the 17th century. The estate covers a 10-hectare park and four hectares of vines, run as a working wine estate with a tasting pavilion. The château is also known for its collections, which include fighter aircraft, Abarth racing cars, vintage motorcycles, vineyard straddle tractors, fire engines, models and satellites. A visitor's ticket covers the collections, the furnished cellars and the park, so guests arriving early can walk the grounds before an event begins.
Getting there
Savigny-lès-Beaune lies a short drive north of Beaune, whose railway station is on the line between Dijon and Lyon. The A6 and A31 motorways meet close to the village. The château opens daily from late March to late October, and from Thursday to Monday in winter, closing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so check your dates against this calendar when you plan a daytime programme.
